TV Ratings: ACM Awards wins but slips from last year, 'Resurrection' continues fall

The Academy of Country Music Awards special helped CBS top all networks for Sunday night, but slipped when compared to last year's show, while ABC's Resurrection continued its decline.

With a 2.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 13.1 million viewers, CBS easily won the night, reports Hitfix. The network started off low with 60 Minutes snagging a 1.3 in the demo. The ACM Awards topped all programs with a 3.3 in the demo, but that is a 23 percent tumble from the previous year.

ABC came in a distance second with a 1.7 in the demo and 6.29 million viewers. America's Funniest Home Videos averaged a 1.3 in the demo, while Once Upon a Time improved to a 2.2 rating. Resurrection continues to dip and has fallen to a 2.1 in the demo, which is a huge dive from the premiere's 3.6 rating. Revenge also dipped, down to a 1.3 in the demo.

Fox averaged a 1.5 in the demo and 3.7 million viewers. Bob's Burgers was down to a 0.9 demo rating and American Dad dipped to a 1.2 in the demo, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Simpsons remained steady with a 1.9 in the demo, while Family Guy was up to a 2.3 rating. Cosmos remained consistent with a 1.5 in the 18-49 demo.

Numbers were down across the board for NBC, which averaged a 0.8 in the demo and 3.9 million viewers. Ann Curry Reports special was ignored and only earned a 0.6 in the demo. American Dream Builders dipped lower from its debut to a similar 0.6 in the demo. Believe was down to a 1.0 rating and Crisis was down to a 1.1 in the demo.
