Relatively new cast members Tessa Ferrer and Gaius Charles will not be returning as series regulars for the next Grey's Anatomy season.
Their contracts were not picked up for another season, according to Deadline, who first reported the news. It isn't known yet whether they could make guest appearances for the following season.
The two, were upped from recurring from the ninth season, to regular for the current season, along with Camilla Luddington and Jerikka Hinton. When they originally joined the show, they all were cast to play new interns.
Ferrer, who plays Leah Murphy, and Charles, who plays Shane Ross, are now second-year residents.
The Hollywood Reporter notes that Ferrer and Charles join Sandra Oh in leaving the show.
The show's stars Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo will be around for up to two more seasons, if ABC renews the show up to a 12th season.
Past cast member Isaiah Washington will be returning to help with Oh's exit.
