Ellen DeGeneres revealed that she and wife Portia de Rossi have adopted a “Kid.”
The TV host explained on her show Thursday that their new addition is a puppy they named Kid.
"I named him Kid because, you know, people.” DeGeneres said with a laugh. “There have been rumors forever, when are you and Portia gonna have a kid? So, now I can say we have a Kid. So it can just stop."
The 57-year-old admitted that although the 9-week-old puppy is adorable, waking up at 11, 1, 3 and 5 a.m. with him isn’t so fun.
"It really makes me appreciate what it's like to be a mother. Because like I'm trying to hold a puppy while I'm trying to make coffee. And I can't do anything,” she revealed. “He doesn't let me do anything.”
DeGeneres and de Rossi have been married since 2008, but now people can no longer ask them about adopting a kid because they already did.
