Nathan Lane has tied the knot with his partner of 18 years, Devlin Elliott, in New York City.
The actor told broke the news while at a panel for the 92nd Street Y on Wednesday to Joy Behar.
People noted that the couple skipped a lavish ceremony and instead made things official marrying at City Hall on Tuesday.
"Nathan and Devlin were married in a small ceremony in New York City this week. Everyone is extremely happy," his rep said.
Lane and Elliot, who is a producer and playwright, co-authored a children's book titled Naughty Mabel based on their 9-year-old French bulldog.
Of the book about the female pooch Elliott said, "She's become our version of a child … really all she wants is for you to pick her up and hold her like a baby."
Lane then joked that "She's a little neurotic and needy at times. It's like living with a supermodel. And now that she's become a celebrity, you know, it’s very difficult."
