Kelly Clarkson may give her baby girl a sneak peek at her newest hit music, but one thing she will not do is ever show her daughter the film From Justin To Kelly. In an interview with TIME, Clarkson talked about recording and the first acting role she ever did.
According to TIME, Clarkson is preparing for the release of her newest album Piece by Piece. She hasn’t released an album since 2011, which is understandable given that she married Brandon Blackstock and went on to have a baby girl, River Rose.
The new album will come out tomorrow and in the meantime, she discussed with TIME about her album, including what won’t be on the album; break up songs.
When asked about any more possible break up songs, she said, “Yeah, I’m a woman! At any given moment I might get upset! But I’m human.” She also talked about recording the album while she was pregnant and revealed th baby had no part of helping her choose her single. However, her stepchildren, Seth and Savannah, did choose “Heartbeat Song” for a single.
E! News reported that when Clarkson was asked when she would let eight-month-old River see it, she replied, “Never! We don’t have to show her that!” The singer also revealed that she tries to pretend the movie never existed in the first place.
Clarkson will appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to talk more about her album.
