Wednesday night was not a strong showing for programs hoping for renewal as several dropped while mainstay Survivor improved slightly in the ratings.

CBS easily took the win with a 2.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10 million viewers. Survivor ticked up to a 2.4 in the demo, reports HitFix. Criminal Minds followed with minor growth as well, up to a 2.3 demo rating. CSI bowed out with an improved 1.9 in the demo.
Fox followed in second behind a relatively even performance from American Idol, with a 1.7 in the advertiser-important demo and 7.8 million viewers.
ABC struggled with a 1.5 in the 18-49 demo and 5.3 million viewers, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Middle fell to a 1.5 rating and Suburgatory dipped to a 1.2 in the key demo. Modern Family, Nashville and Mixology were all steady on the night with a 2.8, 1.2 and 1.3 rating, respectively.
With losses across the board, NBC came in with a 1.3 rating in the demo and 4.8 million viewers. Revolution sagged to a series low with a 1.1 rating, while Law & Order: SVU celebrated its renewal by falling to a 1.4 in the demo. Chicago P.D. closed out the night down to a 1.4 rating.
The CW took in a 0.7 in the demo and 1.97 million viewers as The 100 held even with a 0.6, while Arrow slipped slightly to a 0.7 in the demo.
